What skills and experience we're looking for
Required September 2023, an enthusiastic and well qualified teacher to join our Achievement Team as Year Leader for Year 11. All subject specialisms will be considered.
The successful candidate will work with the Leadership team, Form Tutors and Pastoral Managers to improve progress and achievement of pupils in Year 11. The role involves a combination of strategic leadership of behaviour and achievement systems, management of the education, social and emotional needs of individuals and the tracking and monitoring of student progress and key groups, planning any required interventions. Liaison with parents, staff, SLT and members of the community is key to maintaining positive outcomes and relationships with students and promoting the vision, ethos and aims of the school. The Head of Year 11 is expected to work alongside the Pastoral Team, Subject Leaders and Senior Leadership Team to ensure all students in the year group achieve their potential.
