Nqt job alerts
Newly qualified teachers (NQTs) can now set up a [job alert](https://teaching-vacancies.service.gov.uk/sign-up-for-NQT-job-alerts) that will notify them of any jobs that are suitable for NQTs. Users will receive an email each morning with any new roles that have been listed.

Improvements have been made to the way hiring staff create a job listing, for example, users can now save drafts and review listings. The dashboard that hiring staff use to manage jobs has also been improved. Job-seekers will see some changes to the way search results and listings are displayed.
21 May 2020
Job-seekers can now find vacancies using keywords and location. The new search also allows for typing errors and can understand synonyms, like headteacher and principal.
20 April 2020
Preview of job listing
Users logged in as hiring staff can now view published job listings as they will be seen by job-seekers. Hirers can still preview jobs before they’re published.
24 March 2020
Simplified salary field
Hiring staff can now input job salary details in a free-text field. This means both monetary values and pay scales can be referenced, as appropriate.
16 March 2020
Hiring staff now have an option to upload related documents to job listings - for example, a job description, person specification, or application form. Files can be Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, JPEG, MP4 or PNG documents, and must be no larger than 10MB. Published vacancies can have documents added or removed.
11 March 2020
New listings now require a brief summary of the job, so that job-seekers can quickly see what the role involves. This replaces a more detailed job description field.
Each job listing will now show information about the school at the top of the ‘School overview’ tab. This provides key facts for job-seekers without requiring any additional input from hiring staff.
