What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a motivated and vibrant teacher to join our supportive and collaborative team within The Oaks CE Learning Federation. This part-time position is based at Copythorne CE Infant School and involves shared classroom responsibility with our experienced SENCO, working within a mixed Year 1 and 2 class.
At Copythorne, we have two parallel mixed-age classes that work closely together, sharing workload, planning, and expertise. As part of our Federation of three small, close-knit schools, our teachers benefit from shared PPA time, team collaboration, and a consistent, well-developed curriculum across five classes.
We are seeking a teacher who:
- Works effectively as part of a team

- Fosters a nurturing, inclusive classroom while maintaining high expectations for all pupils
- Collaborates confidently with teaching assistants and shares responsibility for classroom provision

- Demonstrates honesty, professionalism, and a commitment to safeguarding
- Upholds and supports the Christian vision and values of our schools
- Is willing and able to travel across our Federation for meetings and shared PPA time
