What skills and experience we're looking for

Be a qualified and motivated teacher of Science, preferably with a Physics specialism.

  • Have a strong track record of delivering outstanding lessons and securing excellent student outcomes.
  • Be confident teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach Physics at Key Stage 5 desirable.
  • Have an interest in developing and delivering the science components of vocational pathways, including the Construction T Level.
  • Be committed to developing students' knowledge, confidence, problem-solving skills and readiness for further study and employment.
  • Demonstrate high expectations, excellent classroom practice and a clear commitment to the Teachers' Standards.
  • Bring energy, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for inspiring young people to succeed in Science.
  • Embrace and actively support our Catholic ethos.
