Working pattern
- Part time: Five days per week, term time only. Hours worked have to be flexible due to the child being on a reduced timetable until mid-May. Therefore, initially the appointment is for 10 hours per week (1.00-3.00pm), increasing to 25 hours per week (8.45-1.45pm with an unpaid lunch break of 30 minutes).

- £23,118 to £23,505 per annum

What skills and experience we're looking for
Orchard Primary School are seeking to appoint a dedicated, caring professional to provide support to a delightful pupil in Year 6 with Special Educational Needs.
- Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who will bring a sense of energy and passion to the role
- Have NVQ 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent (although training can be given to secure these qualifications)
- Have a good level of general education - English and Maths GCSE passes are essential
- Be able to use their initiative to work independently and flexibly
- Be a person with good interpersonal skills who can form positive relationships with both pupils and adults, and work effectively as part of a team
- Be someone who is able to show empathy and flexibility towards the children in their care
