1:1 Learning Support Assistant with SEN Specialism

Keen to challenge young people with opportunities they may not even know exists yet? We aim to raise pupils’ aspirations so they begin to believe in themselves and understand that there is no thing holding them back, including where they happen to live or their family’s experience in education.
We have two vacancies within our academy, supporting pupils with SEN needs who need day to day support. You may also be required to support their medical needs. Experience in supporting pupils with additional needs including Speech, Language & Communication needs would be beneficial.
The contracts are full time (33.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and are temporary contracts tied to the pupil you will be supporting. We require the successful candidates to commence employment as soon as possible.
Candidates should hold a relevant qualification for the role ie NVQ level 2 as a minimum, level 3 is desirable however not essential.
