1:1 Learning Support Assistant

  • Scale C point 4 (£23,114 per annum pro rata)

  • 2 positions available

  • 1 x 32.5 hours per week - Actual Salary £17,385 per annum 

  • 1 x 19.5 hours per week (3 days a week) - Actual salary £10,431 per annum 

  • term time plus one week

  • Temporary for the duration of the pupil’s stay at the school

  • Start date: As soon as possible


We need a passionate and determined Learning Support Assistant to work with our wonderful pupils. 


You will:

  • Be a kind, caring person, who knows that children learn best in an inclusive environment.

  • Have experience in working with children with different learning needs, particularly experience of working with children on the autistic spectrum, ADHD and social and emotional challenges.

  • Be flexible and adaptable.

  • Have enthusiasm, energy and good humour

  • Have experience of how to use creative and innovative strategies to engage children in school life and learning.

  • Have patience and resilience when dealing with children who demonstrate challenging behaviours.

  • Have excellent communication skills.

  • Be able to work individually and as part of a team.
