1:1 SEND Classroom Support Professional
Honeybourne School
30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30 - 3pm
Attached to a child contract ongoing contract until the child leaves the school
Term time only plus 5 TED days
TA Grade 1 SCP 4 or Grade 2 SCP 5 depending on experience (plus SEND allowance)
We are excited to offer a vacancy for a caring classroom support professional, with experience of working with young children with SEND.
The ideal candidate will be able to help develop social and communication skills, offer emotional support and help the child access the curriculum. The right person will be able to work alongside a small, established team, have a good sense of humour, good communication skills, be organised and punctual, have excellent behaviour management and motivation techniques and be committed to high quality care and education. The role will be linked to a child with additional needs on a 1:1 basis.
