1:1 Teaching Assistant job summary

The role will enable the successful candidate to have;

The opportunity to learn about the Early Years FS2 curriculum in detail

To take part in ongoing professional development

The chance to work within a supportive team of EYFS (initially) and whole school professionals.

The role will include some of the following things and many more not listed

Supporting intimate care needs - this may include changing nappies and supporting toilet training

Working consistently independently and with the larger school team to ensure that the young person can access the Early Years curriculum within a mainstream classroom

Learning and understanding the best ways to communicate the needs of the young person and helping the young person understand the needs of the others in their environment.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
