1:1 Teaching Assistant job summary

Fixed term contract linked to a named child (contract runs for the time the child is on roll)

30 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Term time plus 1 inset day, paid 39 weeks per year

The Village Schools Federation is looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a named child at St Andrews CE School in Great Linford village.

The successful candidate should demonstrate patience and understanding of working with SEND behaviours. Experience of working with children in a school or childcare setting, and with additional needs would be advantageous.

You will be working with a named child in the main classroom with support from the class teacher and Inclusion Lead to support the child’s needs. You should also have a flexible approach to your work.

This role is offered on a fixed term contract for the duration of the children’s time at the school.

You will become part of a small friendly team of supportive staff, as well as the support of the wider federation, who all work together to best support the needs of every child.
