1:1 Teaching Assistant job summary

We are seeking an empathetic, creative and flexible individual to support pupils in our school, some of whom have special educational needs. We are looking for someone who is kind and caring with a can do attitude. to join us from September. Teaching assistant's play a vital role within the school and at St Frideswides we can offer further training and career development.

This role will be working 1:1 with a pupil with special educational needs to provide help to access learning and to participate in the classroom environment.

St Frideswide CE Primary School, as a member of the Oxford Diocesan Schools Trust, is committed to safeguarding children and young people. All postholders in regulated activity are subject to appropriate vetting procedures and a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced check. Online checks may also be carried out to comply with KCSIE.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
