1:1 Teaching Assistant job summary

Working under the guidance of the Class Teacher and SENCO, you will:

Provide high-quality 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs

Support children to access learning both inside and outside the classroom

Help create an inclusive, nurturing and engaging learning environment

Work closely with teachers, families and external agencies to support pupil progress and wellbeing

Encourage children’s independence, confidence and social development The successful candidate will:

Be passionate about supporting children with SEND and additional needs

Have experience of working with or caring for children

Be patient, flexible and resilient

Work effectively as part of a team

Demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills

Share our values of Care, Empowerment and Celebrating Uniqueness
