What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a highly committed, outstanding Learning Support Assistant to work with children who are Autistic, have complex learning needs, medical needs such as epilepsy and who can present with challenging behaviour. The post holder will support these children across the school and in our school-based provision.

If you:

  • have experience of working in a busy classroom environment where no two days are the same
  • have experience of working with children with complex needs including autism and ADHD
  • have experience of working with children with epilepsy or other medical needs
  • have experience of working with children presenting with challenging behaviour
  • are organised and efficient
  • have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • are able to use your own initiative
  • have high expectations of self
