The Trustees at Victorious Academies Trust would like to appoint 2 x Teaching Assistant (Level 2 and /or Level 3) depending on experience and qualifications at Wild Bank Community School, Demesne Drive, Stalybridge, SK15 2PG.

Wild Bank is a one form entry school with 31 staff and 146 pupils aged between 3 and 11. Wild Bank’s school motto is ‘Working together we can achieve our best’.


Details about the role:

To start 5th January 2026 to 31st August 2026

Teaching Assistant Level 2/3 full-time Salary £26,403-£30,518

The role is fixed-term, part-time 30 hours per week, Term Time Only, with an actual salary £18,827-£21,763 (Grade D Point 7-10 / Grade E Point 11-16).

The hours are:

Mon- Fri 8.30 – 15.30 with 1 hour for lunch


We are a small one-form entry school with delightful children and dedicated and friendly staff. We are seeking two part time enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants (Level 2 and/or Level 3) to join our supportive and friendly team; one for EY in the mornings and KS1 in the afternoons and one to work throughout KS2. We will also require the suitable candidate to be flexible to cover in various classes at other times and to provide smaller group support for classes when needed. Experience of working across a variety of age ranges is desirable. The successful candidates will work closely with class teachers to support the learning and development of pupils, helping to create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.

These roles are suitable for candidates with a range of experience and qualifications, appointments will be made at TA Level 2 and/or TA Level 3, depending on the successful applicants’ skills and experience.

The proposed timescale for the selection and interview process is as follows:
