Millbay Academy, Reach South Academy Trust is
seeking to appoint an exceptional Teacher of Computer Science to
join the School in January 2023.

FTE Salary Range: MPS 1 – 6, £25,714 - £36,961
per annum
Contract Type: Full time, Permanent, Teaching Contract
About the role
We are looking
to appoint a passionate and dedicated person to monitor and support the overall
progress and development of students as a teacher, facilitating and encouraging
a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve
their individual potential.
Whilst the
position is primarily a Computer Science position there will be an opportunity
to teach a small amount of another KS3 Ebacc subject.
To contribute
to raising standards of student attainment; sharing and supporting the school’s
responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic
growth.
About the successful candidate
This role
involves understanding the needs of the students and adopting/developing an
appropriate curriculum in your subject area.
You will need to be able to establish a safe, purposeful and stimulating
environment for students, rooted in mutual respect and establish a framework for
discipline with a range of strategies, using praise, sanctions and rewards
consistently and fairly.
