The Springfields Academy, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced Administrator to join the School in Autumn 2023.

Location: The Springfields Academy, Curzon Street, Calne, Wiltshire, SN11 0DS

FTE Salary Range:NJC Grade D, Point 4 - 6, £21,189 rising to a maximum of £21,968 per annum, pro-rata

Actual Annual Salary: £18,856.34 rising to a maximum of £19,549.58 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent, full time, term time only (39 weeks per year)

Contract Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday

About the role

We are seeking to appoint an excellent Administrator. The job involves working within recognised procedures and will include reception duties, answering routine telephone and face to face enquiries from a range of stakeholders including parents, staff and students.

General administrative duties including maintenance of manual and computerisedrecords/managementsystems,financialadministratione.g.collectsandrecordsdinnermoneyandundertakingspecificdutiesthatsupportthedaytodayadministrative operations oftheschool.

About the successful candidate

This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated and self-sufficientperson who is very well organised and with a can-do attitude.We are looking forpeople who havethefollowingexperienceand qualities:

·       NVQLevel2inAdministrationorequivalentqualificationorexperience

·       Good knowledge of general computer packages and office equipment e.g.MicrosoftOffice,photocopier, telephonesetc.

·       GCSEMathematicsandEnglish–GradeCandaboveorequivalent

·       Good keyboarding skills for the production of routine correspondence andemailswithoccasionaltyping

·       Experienceofmanualandcomputerisedrecord/informationsystems

·       Have good verbal and written communication skills to exchangeinformation with a range of audiences (e.g. staff, students, parents andothers)

·       Previous experience of working in a school, whilst is not essential would bedesirable.
