Goosewell Primary Academy, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join the School as soon as possible.

Post: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Location: Goosewell Primary Academy, Plymouth, PL9 9HD

FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade E, Point 15-20, £27,803 rising to £30,296 per annum, pro-rata

Actual Annual Salary: £21,733 rising to £23,681 per annum

Contract Type: Fixed term until July 2024, term time only

About the role

We are seeking to appoint a passionate HLTA who has a real commitment to ensuring every child works towards and achieves their potential.

You will be responsible for covering the class when teachers are absent by delivering high quality lessons already planned by the teacher which form part of the school curriculum. The post will involve supporting children in various Year Groups with developing their skills and knowledge in a range of subjects across the curriculum (e.g RE, IPC etc)

Many pupils told inspectors that the school was very friendly and that pupils were kind and well behaved. Pupils learn about the importance of acting respectfully and with empathy for others throughout the curriculum.’

About the Trust

Reach South is a young and developing Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education.
