Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a Finance Assistant to join the Trust as soon as possible.
Post: Senior Finance Assistant
Location: Plymouth Based (Remote working at present, with hybrid working under review)
FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade E, SCP 15 to 20 (£29,093 - £31,586 per annum)
Contract Type: Fixed term, full time (until 30 April 2025)
Contract Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday. For this role we are open to discussing the possibility of reduced hours, job share, compressed hours, staggered hours or working from home. About the Role:
We are seeking to appoint a Senior Finance Assistant to join the Trust.
About the successful candidate
The Senior Finance Assistant is a member of the Shared Services Centre, responsible for the efficient and effective processing of day-to-day financial transactions and related transactions across multiple business areas including all schools and central department to a high standard.
The role will report into the Finance Shared Service Manager and will encompass daily processing of purchase and sales transactions, regular review and reconciliation of open items on the ledgers and addressing any queries and issues. The post-holder will interact with many different stakeholders including third party suppliers, customers, academy staff, the Trust’s Executive team and Trustees.

Reach South is a young and developing Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education. We operate 17 academies in Plymouth, Bournemouth, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. We are building this Trust on a clear set of values, behaviours and curriculum principles.
