SAIL Academy, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a new teacher to the secondary phase of the school
SAIL Academy is looking to recruit a secondary teacher as part of planned growth and development within the school
We are looking for either
A Secondary Maths teacher, to teach across the range of attainment but including GCSE maths or
A Secondary Science teacher, with the ability to teach GSCE Science alongside some maths within the secondary phase.
Location: SAIL Academy, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP2 7EU
FTE Salary Range: MPS1 - UPS3 = £31,650 - £49,084 + SEN Allowance = £2,679
Contract Type: Permanent, full time
Contract Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday

About the School
SAIL (Salisbury Academy for Inspiration Learners) is a day specialist provider of education in Salisbury, Wiltshire for children and young people aged from 4 to 19 years who have a diagnosis of autism and/or an SEMH profile.
Following opening on 1 September 2023, the school moved into new premises on Wilton Road in Salisbury. The current cohort of 87 is planned to grow towards a roll of 150 children over the course of the next 18 months.
SAIL’s aim is to build safe independent lives for the autistic and SEMH population through a process of understanding, support, and enablement. To achieve this goal the school will look at the unique impact autism and social, emotional, and mental health experiences has on the individual child. From this we aim as a school to personalise the child’s curriculum, care, and therapeutic package to ensure every child achieves and experiences success and independence, through learning today, whilst preparing for tomorrow.

About the Trust
Reach South is a young and developing Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education.
