Drake Primary Academy is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed Administrator to join our committed support team in the school office for 5 days, term time plus 1 week.

FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade C, Point 5 - 7, £25,583 - £26,403 per annum

Actual Annual Salary: £18,459 - £19,050 per annum, Pro Rata

Contract Type: Permanent, part-time, term time only plus 1 week (39 week)

Contract Hours: 30 hours per week, Wednesdays, 08:30 am - 3 pm

About the role

Drake Primary Academy is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed Administrator to join our committed support team. The ideal candidate will be hard working, friendly and outgoing and have relevant experience of working in a school setting. They will have a passion for supporting young children’s learning and development and enjoy working as part of a team.

About the successful candidate

This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated and well organised individual. We are looking for people who have the following experience and qualities:

  • Have at least an NVQ Level 2 administration qualification (or equivalent)
  • GCSE 's in Mathematics and English - Grade C and above
  • Good knowledge of general computer packages and office equipment e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, photocopier/printer, telephones etc.
  • Be able to display effective communication skills with both children and adults
  • Be eager to work collaboratively in a wider team, adaptable and open to new ideas and practices
  • Be a fast and highly flexible thinker, being able to deal with change and unpredictability positively with a ‘can-do’ attitude
