2nd In Humanities (Head of Geography) job summary

This is an exciting opportunity at Ormiston Chadwick Academy and requires you to be enthusiastic and passionate with the drive to help our students to achieve their very best.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, motivated and successful 2nd in Humanities (Head of Geography) to support the Head of Humanities in leading, developing and directing the work of the faculty so that all students make at least the expected progress and staff feel a sense of achievement and success.

You will be a Geography teacher able to teach GCSE level and have the skill set to further improve standards and outcomes for our Humanities department. Leading on our Geography curriculum you will liaise with other Heads of Faculty, middle leaders and teachers to share and collaborate in approaches that will support success in your own area.

Ormiston Chadwick Academy opened in Widnes in September 2014, serving the community of West Widnes. Our Academy is large enough to offer an outstanding curriculum but small enough to have a strong community ethos in which all students are known and nurtured to achieve their potential.
