Are you a tech enthusiast who loves solving puzzles and helping people? The Priory Learning Trust is looking for a driven, technically - savvy 2nd Line IT Engineer to join our centralised team. The Role: Why it Matters
- Working directly under the Head of IT, you won’t just be responding to tickets - you’ll be a vital part of a modern, multi-platform environment. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Managing a Diverse Ecosystem: Supporting Microsoft, Apple, and Google devices to ensure learning never stops.
- Infrastructure Impact: Assisting with network improvements and change control to keep our systems robust.
- The Go-To Expert: Resolving complex technical issues for both staff and students with a focus on high-quality service.
- Fleet Management: Handling repairs and warranties to keep our hardware at peak performance.
Are You the One?
We are looking for a teammate who is as good with people as they are with technology. You’ll be a great fit if you have:
- The Knowledge: At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused IT environment.
- The Tech Stack: Deep understanding of modern OS, software, and hardware (plus a BTEC Level 3, Microsoft, or CompTIA certification).
- The Drive: A valid driver’s license and your own car to move between our vibrant Trust sites.
- The Basics: Strong literacy and numeracy (GCSE Grade C/4+ in English, Maths, and IT).
- The Attitude: A passion for IT, a "can-do" spirit, and the ability to work brilliantly within a team.

All appointments are subject to a comprehensive pre-employment checking process. This includes an Enhanced DBS check (including a Children’s Barred List check), satisfactory references, medical fitness, Right to Work in the UK, and where applicable, a prohibition from teaching/management check. In line with KCSIE guidance, we will also conduct online searches on all shortlisted candidates.
