What skills and experience we're looking for
Gilberdyke Primary School are looking to appoint two highly motivated and enthusiastic people to the position of “Achievement Support Assistant” to work within the school under the instruction and guidance of Teaching Staff. You may be deployed into any phase of the school and your role and responsibilities may be varied. For example, you may be asked to support individual and groups of children within the classroom or you may be required to carry out interventions in a specific phase of the school.

The successful candidate will:
- Have an understanding of how children learn and how to get the best from them.
- Have experience of working in a primary or nursery setting.
- Be a team player, willing to go above and beyond for our children.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Engage with members of the community in the life of the school and champion the school’s ethos and culture.
- Show a restorative manner at all times, modelling effective practice to others within the school community.
