3D Art and Design Teacher job summary
We are looking to expand the Art and Technology faculty to broaden our curriculum offer and are seeking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic catering, 3D art specialist or design technology teacher. The successful candidate will have specialisms in at least one of these areas and a willingness to develop expertise in others and will teach all abilities across KS3 and KS4. KS3 students do a carousel of textiles, art, food, 3D design and graphics. At KS4, we offer design technology, catering, textiles, art, photography and computing. The successful applicant will join a dedicated and collaborative department committed to producing the highest quality work, achieving high academic standards and eager to contribute to the extra curricular work and wider life of the academy.
The Technology department is a thriving and stimulating area of the academy where students engage in art, design technology and catering. The department is equipped with modern IT and 3D CAD packages, a dedicated IT room in addition to workshops, a laser cutter, 3D printer and a fully equipped catering room and art and textiles room. The successful applicant will join a collaborative department committed to producing the highest quality work, achieving high academic standards and eager to contribute to the extra curricular work and wider life of the academy.
All teaching staff at the academy are expected to want to inspire, enthuse and engage students every lesson to produce the highest quality work and achieve high academic standards. Ormiston Six Villages Academy, is an exciting and supportive place to work.
