A QUALIFIED TEACHER OF THE DEAF (TMS/UPS) 0.6FTE
January 2024
The
enthusiastic person appointed will work alongside the SENDCO and other
professionals as a Teacher of the Deaf and will hold the mandatory Teacher of
the Deaf qualification and a minimum of Level 1 signing skills is required. An experienced Teacher of the Deaf would be
considered for a Head of HI/Deaf department post.
St.
Paul’s has a large Learning Support Department with specialist resource
provisions for HI, VI and communication (ASC).
We have ten pupils in the HI department and the successful candidate
will work with these pupils and support the Communications Support Workers in
the department.
