A017 Lecturer in Computing job summary

As a Lecturer in Computing, you’ll teach across Levels 1-5, including BTEC, T Level Digital Support and Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs). Teaching experience is not essential; we will fully support you to achieve your teaching qualification while learning alongside an experienced and supportive team. You will deliver engaging, practical learning that reflects current industry practice, using modern facilities and up‑to‑date hardware and software. With opportunities to teach across a range of computing specialisms, no two days will be the same. Together, you’ll help inspire students and support them to develop the skills they need for their future careers.

About You

  • Up to date knowledge in your specialist area, with the ability to teach it confidently.
  • Relevant industry experience that you’re keen to share with students.
  • A teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd or equivalent) — or a willingness to work towards one with our support.
  • English and Maths at Level 2 (GCSE grade C or equivalent).
  • A commitment to Equality, Diversity and Safeguarding, with training provided.
