A024C Maintenance Specialist job summary

About the Role

You will take the lead on both planned and reactive maintenance within your trade, helping to ensure our College remains safe, welcoming and well-maintained. Working closely with the Maintenance Operations and Contracts Managers, you will support building projects and supervise contractors when needed.

You will help us achieve best value for money by prioritising work effectively and promoting the efficient use of utilities. Health, safety and compliance will be central to your role, including carrying out risk assessments and ensuring all work meets health, safety and building regulations. By identifying potential issues early, you will help prevent problems and minimise disruption for staff, students and visitors across the College.

About You

  • Experience working in a maintenance or construction environment.
  • Confidence in planning, costing and delivering work within your specialist are
  • A good understanding of health and safety, quality standards and environmental requirements.
