About this role
Be the link that opens doors. As an Employment Mentor, you’ll connect students, families, employers, and the College, breaking down barriers to learning and employment. You’ll work closely with learners to create tailored placements that match their goals and set them up for success. By championing the value of work and offering practical guidance, you’ll empower interns to achieve sustainable employment and brighter futures. At Gloucestershire College, we believe our people are our greatest asset—come and share that passion with us!
About You
- Experience of working with young people in post-16 education, training, or similar environments.
- Experience supporting individuals with learning difficulties, disabilities, or barriers to employment.
- GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at grade C or above is essential.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, are required.
