About this Role

Our Learning Support team is dedicated to helping students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) reach their full potential. This role focuses on supporting learners in our high-needs provision at Cheltenham, ensuring their progress is monitored and their annual reviews are carried out effectively. You’ll work closely with local authorities and colleagues to make sure every learner gets the right support at the right time. The aim is to build independence and prepare students for adulthood, while meeting all statutory requirements. It’s a role that makes a real difference to learners’ lives and their future opportunities.

About You

  • Experience of supporting young people aged 16+ who have Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND)
  • Able to identify what additional help learners need and regularly reviewing their progress
  • Experience of working confidently with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and supporting learners who have them.
  • Hold English and Maths qualifications at level 2 (GCSE grade or equivalent).
