A083 Lecturer in Engineering Mathematics and Science job summary

You’ll plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that help learners build confidence and progress in their studies. You will use a range of teaching and assessment methods to support different learning needs and encourage independence. The role includes creating a positive, respectful classroom environment and helping learners see how their skills link to future opportunities. You’ll also work with colleagues, keep accurate records and contribute to quality processes. Ongoing professional development is encouraged to keep your teaching current and effective.

About You

  • Up‑to‑date knowledge of Engineering relevant to the teaching area.
  • HND or Degree in a Maths or Engineering-related subject.
  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Willing to complete Safeguarding and Equality & Diversity training.
  • Able to support an inclusive and positive learning environment.
