A084 Hair and Beauty Technician job summary

In this hands‑on role, you’ll help keep our salons running smoothly by preparing spaces and resources for practical sessions and supporting lecturers during classes. The role involves ordering products, checking deliveries, and maintaining accurate records to ensure everything is well‑stocked and organised. You’ll also play an important part in keeping our salons clean and safe, from maintaining hygiene standards to completing risk assessments. Alongside this, you’ll support students and clients at reception, handle payments, and help manage uniform supplies. You’ll also contribute to training activities and help maintain a welcoming, professional experience for everyone who uses our salons.

About You

  • Knowledge of the hair and/ or beauty industry
  • Experience of working in a professional salon or sector related role
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in hair, beauty, barbering or make up
  • GCSE C grade and above in maths and English (Or willingness to complete).
