A100 Data Returns Specialist job summary

You’ll produce accurate statutory and funding data returns, working with teams across the College to investigate and correct any issues. You’ll stay up to date with funding rules and guidance, review key documents, and help ensure our systems hold complete and compliant data. You’ll lead monthly data checks, manage validation reports, and support internal and external audits. You’ll also provide data insights for curriculum planning, help train colleagues on systems and processes, and contribute to clear guidance that supports strong data quality.

About You

  • Experience working with ILR data, funding rules and returns in FE/HE.
  • Confident using MIS or student records systems.
  • Skilled in validating, analysing and correcting large datasets.
  • Experience planning and managing effective processes
  • Able to create reports and use basic programming for data tasks.
