Academic Support Teacher job summary

Are you an enthusiastic and dynamic primary or secondary trained Teacher?

If so, why not consider joining our school. From September 2026 we would like to appoint a suitably qualified person to teach some of our students who are working at KS2 level. You will support the Alternative Curriculum Team and SEND Team with providing appropriate lessons for groups of students, including small groups of mixed aged students.

  • Someone with a passion for supporting students with additional needs
  • A confident understanding of SEND needs and the ability to inspire students through suitably adapted lessons
  • An imaginative person looking to strengthen provision across the school
  • A successful teacher who believes in bringing out the best in every student
  • Applications are welcome from either primary or secondary trained teachers wanting to support the catch-up programme
