Academy Operations Lead job summary
About the role
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will:
- Lead and coordinate non-teaching operations including administration, compliance, health & safety, parental engagement, and whole-school logistics.
- Provide line management to operational leads and drive a culture of professionalism and high standards across all support teams.
- Act as the bridge between strategic priorities and day-to-day delivery, ensuring that school improvement plans are supported by robust systems.
- Work closely with the Headteacher and Trust central teams to ensure operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned to educational outcomes.
About you
We are looking for someone with:
- Proven leadership and management experience in an operational or business support role.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex systems and competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with staff, students, parents and external partners.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach and a commitment to the highest standards of service.
