Academy Support Co-ordinator job summary

PERMANENT POST

FULL TIME - 37 HOURS

TERM TIME - 40 WEEKS PER YEAR (FULL YEAR CAN WE ARRANGED AND WILL BE DISCUSSED AT INTERVIEW)

GRADE C POINT 1 - 4 £25,183 - £26,835, (Pro Rata £22,119.58 - £23,570.62)

Undertake a wide range of administrative duties for Middle Leaders to include:

- Production of letters i.e. missed homework, set change letters etc.

- Scanning of confidential student documents and attaching these to SIMS records.

- SIMS In touch messages

Day to day running of the reprographics department responding to requests received the reprographics mailbox and trays in agreed timescales including:

- Word processing, photocopying, laminating, binding, printing etc.

- Ordering of consumables including checking stock and placing orders on the finance system

- Posts system maintenance, charges and incoming and outgoing mail

- Reporting admin photocopier faults to IT services

Act as a point of contact for deliveries and returns liaising with the Facilities team for removal of items from the academy support office.

Undertake administrative duties associated with booking of academy facilities including:

- Liaise with hirers and issue hire packs and letters for bookings

- Booking of facilities

- Liaising with evening reception team regarding bookings

Undertake all administration arrangements relating to school trips, events and WLA mini bus driver assessments as required by SLT.

Respond to requests received via the operations mailbox to ensure all staff and parental queries are dealt with in a timely manner i.e.Edulink parent logins and password resets.

Undertake any other general administrative or reception duties as required by the Operations Manager.

Resources

Operate relevant equipment/ICT packages (e.g., word, excel, databases, spread sheets, Internet)

Provide general advice and guidance to staff, students, visitors and others.

Undertake general financial administration e.g., processing of web-based order
