Academy Support Co-ordinator job summary

FIXED TERM POST UNTIL JULY 2026

MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 20 HOURS PER WEEK

BAND C POINT 1 - 4 (£25,989 to £27,694 FTE , PRO RATA £12,029.31 TO £12,818.44)

Queen Elizabeth Grammar School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and self-motivated person to join our administrative team. We are looking to appoint an Academy Support Co-ordinator to undertake a wide range of administrative duties.

Main duties and responsibilities will include;

Organisation

  • Oversee and manage the school Social Media.
  • Produce the school newsletter
  • Provide SEND and Safeguarding Administration support
  • Provide reception cover along with other members of the admin team
  • Provide administration duties associated with the booking of school facilities
  • Provide administration duties associated with school trips, events etc
  • Provide administration duties associated Parentmail communication

Resources

  • Operate relevant equipment/ICT packages (e.g Word, Excel, databases, Internet)
  • Provide general advice and guidance to staff, students, visitors and others
  • Undertake general financial administration e.g processing of web-based orders
