Achievement Coordinator in Science job summary

Gosforth Academy is a successful school which was rated ‘outstanding’ in its most recent Ofsted inspection. We are seeking a dynamic, accomplished and inspirational teacher of Science to join a successful department in an exciting phase of the Academy’s development.
The ideal candidate will have the skills necessary to contribute to raising achievement and improving progress within Science; they will have the ability to teach Science successfully at KS3 and KS4, with potential to teach their specialism at KS5. They will also have a clear understanding of the issues involved in standards of teaching and learning. This is a superb opportunity to make a difference within a positive and exciting environment.
