Activity Support Assistant (Lunchtime Supervisor) job summary
Ravenshall School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed lead for inclusion to work in our “Exceptional School” (Ofsted, 2024)
This Outstanding special school caters for pupils aged 4 - 19 who have learning difficulties and a wide range of medical and complex needs.
We currently have a vacany for an Activity Support Worker. You would be working with pupils during our lunchtime period. The work will involve organising and supervising care and play based activities for our pupils. Skills in behaviour and communication strategies would be an advantage as most of our pupils have additional speech, language and communication difficulties.
The hours will be 10 hours per week, working 11:30 am - 1:30pm. You will be paid Term Time plus 3 additional days for training.
Your duties will include providing all aspects of personal care to our students as well as supervising and monitoring play areas during break time and in lessons. It is therefore essential that you have experience of dealing with children and young people.
