Graded as 'outstanding' by Ofsted, Columbus is a leading all-age special school for children and young people aged 3-19 with severe and profound learning difficulties based in Chelmsford, Essex. We deliver an outstanding education to students in our impressive, purpose-built environment across two campuses with some of the highest quality learning environments in the country for children with complex needs.We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Admin Assistant to provide comprehensive reception and administrative support to our Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving queries from parents, children, and members of the public both in person and over the phone, in line with our strict safeguarding procedures.Other duties include coordinating the Annual Review Process, general phone calls home for absent or ill children, sorting incoming and outgoing post and deliveries, and maintaining the school database and other systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure and have experience of working in a busy office environment. A good understanding of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to use Arbor, ParentPay and T2P is desirable.If you have a passion for providing excellent customer service, are a team player, and have a can-do attitude, we would love to hear from you.
