Are you highly organised, approachable, and ready to make a difference in a vibrant school community? Astrea Academy Sheffield is seeking a dedicated Administration Assistant to join our team on a 1-year maternity cover contract starting in February 2026.
About the RoleAs an Administration Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the academy. You’ll be the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors, ensuring smooth communication and efficient administrative processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality administrative support across the academy
- Manage incoming communications and maintain accurate records
- Support with events, meetings, and diary management
- Deliver excellent customer service to students, staff, and families
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- Experience in an administrative or customer-facing role (school experience desirable but not essential)
