What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for somebody who is:

  • professional, friendly, and confident

  • highly organised with excellent standards of accuracy

  • able to manage time, multi-task, prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines

  • experienced in providing administrative support in a busy office

  • able to effectively use ICT Packages (e.g. Microsoft Office, Google, database.)

  • familiar with safeguarding

  • willing and eager to learn

  • well-acquainted with Data Protection procedures and experienced in knowing how to handle personal and sensitive information

  • able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to staff, pupils, parents, carers and external agencies

Stephen Hawking School is a special school for approximately 104 pupils between two and 11 years of age in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The majority of the children have profound and multiple learning difficulties. A significant number of the children have additional sensory and physical impairments.
