Admin & Finance Officer job summary
Waddington All Saints Academy, part of L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, is seeking a highly organised and professional Finance Officer/Administrator to join our busy school office team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the academy, supporting staff, pupils, and parents. The role is required over 5 days a week, with a start time of 8.30 am each morning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Finance function including raising of Purchase orders, processing of invoices,
- Checking of bacs runs, reconciling credit card statements and supplier statements
- Assisting the Business Manager in monitoring income and expenditure
- Processing of school trips.
- Managing the parent payment system and processing income received.
- Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and telephone enquiries
- Providing high-quality administrative support to staff and leadership
- Maintaining accurate records and data systems (SIMS experience desirable)
- Assisting with correspondence, reports, and communications
- Supporting the wider team with tasks such as admissions, attendance, and safeguarding administration

- Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Is confident using IT systems and willing to learn new software
- Can manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
