Administration and Finance Assistant job summary

The Job:

Pleckgate High School seek to appoint an Administration and Finance Assistant to work 20 hours per week in the afternoons. The pro rata salary for this position is £12,280 to £12,474 per annum.


What does this job do?

  • Meet and greet visitors to the school and manage visitor sign in and issuing of lanyards according to safeguarding requirements
  • Ensure an excellent level of customer service support to parents, staff, visitors and pupils.
  • To prepare and/or draft correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents for the school as required.
  • Produce lists/information/data as required, eg pupils’ data
  • To undertake any necessary finance administration roles as requested by the SBM


What are the job requirements?

  • We require a financial administrative assistant who has excellent organisation, administration and finance skills.
  • Experience of working within education would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent skills in IT particularly the use of Excel and Microsoft Office
