Administration Assistant job summary

Bourne Alliance Multi Academy Trust is seeking an experienced administrator to work in our busy school office at Aspire school. This is a part time, permanent position, working 15 hours per week (days and times to be negotiated) term time only (39 weeks per year).

This is a key role in school and the successful candidate will provide administration, reception and general office support to the school. The post involves a wide range of tasks including dealing with visitors and parents, provide support to children and attend to their queries, and a range of general administration duties.

The successful candidate will:-

    • Have strong interpersonal skills.
    • Have good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Be organised, adaptable and able to use own initiative.
    • Be a proficient user of Microsoft 365.
    • Be a strong team member who can work co-operatively to improve outcomes for children. An individual who is keen to learn and able to take direction.
    • Be committed to the organisation’s success, flexible and well organised.
    • Be an attentive to detail, accurate and efficient administrator.
    • Be familiar with Arbor, although this is not essential.
    • Be kind, caring and committed to committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children and families

      The successful candidate will also be polite, confident and have a friendly manner with a can-do attitude and be someone who can create a welcoming atmosphere in the school office.
