What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will:

Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to help build positive relationships with our children, families and their colleagues;

Have a positive outlook and be flexible and supportive of our ethos;

Have exceptional reception and administrative skills and knowledge;

Be dynamic, highly effective and approachable, with a willingness to help others;

Be committed to inclusion, equality, and personal development;

Be able to maintain confidentiality on all school matters;

To be responsible for maintaining the student database for all admissions, with excellent knowledge and experience of SIMs/Arbor and SAM;

To provide secretarial, clerical and word processing support ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times;

To provide administrative support, e.g. photocopying, typing and collation of pupils files;

To administer first aid (a first aid certificate is desirable but training can be provided);

To undertake reception and telephone duties, answering enquiries from staff, pupils, parents and the general public in a calm and professional manner;

Understanding of school attendance as this will be a key part of the role;
