Ormiston Venture Academy is seeking an Administration Assistant to support the pastoral team, helping maintain accurate student records, support academy systems and contribute to a positive student focused environment.
As our ideal candidate, you will have a strong knowledge of IT and data, you will have experience working with students in an educational setting and possess a solid understanding of a range of specialist equipment, as well as basic first aid knowledge.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are key, including the ability to guide and encourage students, liaise with colleagues, and maintain confidentiality. A strong awareness of medical conditions such as asthma and epilepsy, along with a good understanding of health and safety procedures, is essential.
This role is 37 hours per week, working 39 weeks per year (term time plus staff development days).
