St Mary’s Catholic Academy - Administration Assistant

This is a permanent position at St Mary’s Catholic Academy

for 20 hours Level 3 (Actual salary £11, 721 - £12,175) Monday - Friday 8:30am - 12:30pm

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and professional Administration Assistant who:

  • Is fully supportive of the Catholic ethos and values of our school
  • Can undertake a wide range of reception and administrative duties, including monitoring the office email account, greeting visitors, supporting reprographics, and carrying out general office tasks
  • Acts confidently as the first point of contact for telephone and face‑to‑face enquiries
  • Demonstrates strong working knowledge and effective use of a range of IT systems and software
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling positive interactions with pupils, staff, parents, and visitors
  • Shows a flexible, proactive approach and is able to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
  • Is able to think quickly, problem‑solve, and use their initiative when responding to day‑to‑day challenges
  • Is motivated, enthusiastic, and reflective, with a commitment to delivering high‑quality administrative support
