Administration Assistant job summary
St Michael’s Administration Assistant is an integral part of the school, providing help to pupils, parents and our staff. This appointment would be a core member of the team.
We are looking for an Administration Assistant to join us in a role that would equally suit someone starting out in their career or more experienced person wanting to move into education and work in a school environment.
Required skills for this role include:
Commitment to working as part of a team and having a positive attitude.
Excellent general administration and organisational skills and being educated to a good standard (GCSE English and Maths at level C or above)
The ability to prioritise and work independently
Relate well to pupils, staff, parents, governors, and members of the wider school community.
Able to maintain high levels of confidentiality and being committed to the safeguarding of our pupils.
Proficient IT Skills with knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ideally have proven experience working in an administration environment.
