Administration Assistant job summary
We are looking to appoint a temporary administrative assistant to support the day-to-day tasks of our busy school office. This is a varied role. This person will provide general office support including answering the telephone and greeting visitors; will be involved in the managing of school premises lettings and liaising with the school caretaker and outside contractors to support the maintenance of the school premises. The successful applicant will have:
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data protection.
- Understanding of the importance of safeguarding and child protection in a school setting.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Proficient in the use of IT systems and software, including Microsoft Office and school-specific administrative systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as required.
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of the school.
