What skills and experience we're looking for


Experience of school systems and using SIMS. You will have strong spoken and written communication skills and secure IT skills in order to deal with oral or written exchanges with a range of audiences. Specifically:

  • You will be able to use Microsoft Office and SIMS (or other school management systems). Experience of ParentPay desirable.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with people at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritise, manage own workload and use initiative, at times, working independently.
  • Ability to record written and numerical information accurately and reliably.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Merstone School is looking to appoint an Administration Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Administration Team being responsible to the Office Manager and to support in the smooth running of the schools by providing daily reception, administrative, procedural and organisational support.
